Merry Jesus-Mas and End of Year-ageI've found a brilliant book, The Heroin Diaries, A Year In The Life Of A Shattered Rock Star by Nikki Sixx, yes it is just about a rock star being addicted to heroin and getting clean, but it's better than i could ever have imagined, and now i've got the album that goes with it, The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack - Sixx:A.M, it's just amazing, sitting and reading while listening to the album, absolutely amazing.
I'm going to give you my top 4 albums of the year...Just because i can.
1 - Alter Bridge - Blackbird -
This album took a while for me to get into and get used to, I've been waiting for this album for about 2 years and Alter Bridge did not disappoint me at all, especially the songs Ties That Bind, Brand New Start, Rise Today, Watch Over You and Blackbird.
2 - Sixx:A.M - The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack -
A late comer, but, even if you haven't read the book it is an amazing album, the vocalist is amazing, not as much bass emphasis as you'd think (the band being named after Nikki Sixx, a bassist) Particularly loving the songs Girl With Golden Eyes, Life Is Beautiful, Dead Man's Ballet, Accidents Can Happen, Courtesy Call, Van Nuys, Pray For Me
3 - Black Stone Cherry - Black Stone Cherry -
I got into this album a few weeks before going to see the guys (they were amazing, did not let me down at all), the songs are catchy, the vocalist is amazing and every song is charged with the type of energy that a classic rock-type album should, i recommend the songs Lonely Train, Rain Wizard, Hell And High Water, Violator Girl, Crosstown Woman, Backwards Gold.
4 - InMe - Daydream Anonymous -
Again, I got into this album a few weeks before seeing them for the second time, you can really tell that the guitarist is coming into his own with the guitar work, the vocals are as good as ever, and its still so so so catchy
, loving the songs I Won't Let Go, Turbulence, Cracking the whip (check out the finger tapping 
), Soldier, In Loving Memory, Daydream AnonymousAnd just some bands that have made my year ROCK
